台东盛产一种叫“释迦”的水果，我在广州也见过，叫“番荔枝”。对它印象深刻，不是因为名字古怪，而是因为价格非一般的贵。这种水果，外皮突起恰似佛头，故有赖球果、佛头果、释迦果之称。

沿途经过村镇时，不时见到路边有摆卖释迦的农舍。我在心中琢磨着，到这里了还不品尝一下，似乎太对不起自己。
看中一个大户人家，大大的凉棚，路边摆放着一筐筐的释迦，平板上也摆满了，个个硕大饱满，颇为招惹人啊！
一打听，价格果然不菲，新台币要100元一斤。
我让老板娘特意挑选了一粒成熟的释迦给我，75元成交。
“这个怎么吃啊?!”我也不怕老板娘笑话我，没吃过就是没吃过，
